Swiss Inn Waterfront Sandakan is a 3-Star Hotel located in the heart of Sandakan town. In view of our strategic expansion plan which is part of our mission to be the preferred hotel in Sandakan, we are inviting suitable candidates to fill in the following position:
Executive Sous Chef
Skills:
- Preferable will be a graduate in Hotel / Catering
- Management or equivalent position
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent supervisory or leadership skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Responsibilities:
- Direct and control the efficient and quality production of relevant food items according to the standard set
- To ensure the quality production and compliance with guest request
- To maintain a proper personnel hygiene acceptable by Health Department and Hotel Standard
- Monitoring all related food costs, take action to ensure the correct margin are achieved
Requirements:
- Expertise in Western, Malay and special cuisine will be an added advantage
- At least three (3) years working experience in related field with similar position
- Able to handle kitchen operation planning for menu, promotion and strong in leadership qualities
- Expertise in food preparation and presentation
- Innovative menu development and planning
