Main Responsibilities:

Lecturer: Mechanical / Electrical / Process
The Lecturer's scope of work at TAS Institute includes designing, preparing and developing teaching materials; delivering lectures and tutorials; assessing students' coursework; setting and marking examinations; supporting students through an advisory role; representing TAS Institute at professional conferences and seminars and contributing to these where necessary; establishing collaborative links outside the institute with industrial, commercial and public organisations

Minimum Requirements:
1. Applicants must be Malaysian Citizens;
2. Preferable with previous relevant experience in a similar capacity in other reputable organisations;
3. A Degree in relevant field of engineeering preferably Masters or PhD;
4. Applicant should have had at least 3 years' working experience;
5. A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes. Preferably with experience in relevant field of engineering in the oil and gas industries;
6. Proven record of ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines;
7. Evidence of ability to teach and to supervise academic work for students;
8. Ability to work collaboratively;
9. Possess knowledge on preparing accreditation documenttations for Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) inclusive of Provisional Accreditation, Full Accreditation and Compliance Audit.
