We are searching for suitable candidate to fill the following position:
General Marine Engineer / Marine Superintendent
(To be based in Kota Kinabalu)
Responsibilities:
- Able to work collaboratively and independently with multi-tasking
- Able to perform administrative work
- Prepare monthly summary report requested by management
- Able to handle crew or shipping matters
Requirements:
- Min 3 years working experience, well versed in English & Malay (Fresh graudated are encourage to apply)
- Proactive with excellent communication skills and work independently
- Candidates must possess at least Class 1 Engineering with have served in the capacity of a Chief Engineer
- Experience in Marine environment and shipping knowledge will be an advantage
- Familiar with SOLAS, ISM, ISPS, MARPOL IMCO and HSE requirements:
- Planning, managing and control of vessel operations
- Lead the ship management team in terms of trouble shooting, shipboard management problems and ability to provide solutions
- Possess own transport
- Able to work under pressure and tight reporting deadlines
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Words, Excel, etc
- Possess pleasant personality & good interpersonal skill
