Marine Biologist
Responsible for coordinating and participating in land based operations and ocean field activities that relate to aquaculture project in Malaysia or surrounding areas.
- Master' Degree in Marine Biology or Aquaculture preferred, Bachelor's degree required
- At least 5 years verifiable experience as leader in a sea-based research operation
- Not more than 40 years old, male or female
- Has strong field research background
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications
- Demonstrates excellent analytic skills and attention to detail
- Has open water diving certificate
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Speaks good English and Bahasa Melayu
- Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Proficiency in GPS-based mapping is an advantage
- Skilled at operating boats up to 40 feet in length
- Has a valid Malaysian driver's license
- Can lift 25 kilograms
- Familiar with marine safety regulations
- Willing to travel or be assigned anywhare in Malaysia
Marine Technician
Responsible for construction and maintenance of land-based an underwater aquaculture systems for aquaculture project in Malaysia or surrounding areas
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology or closely related field
- At least 3 years verifiable experience in sea-based operations
- Not more than 35 years old, male or female
- Has strong engineering / technical experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Has open water diving certificate
- Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Skilled at operating boat up to 40 feet in length
- Has a Malaysian driver's license
- Can lift 30 kilograms
- Familiar with Marine safety regulations
- Willing to travel or be assigned anywhere in Malaysia
Office Staff
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Has good verbal and written English languages skills
- Not more than 30 years old, male or female
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications, can type well
- Very familiar with Malaysian accounting rules and regulations
- Has a Malaysian driver's license
- Preferably residing in Kota Kinabalu
